Meet FunMusik Records

Funmusik Records is an independent music label and creative music project

Funmusik Records is more than a record label.

We are a creative home for artists, stories, and voices that follow their own path. Our artists bring together a wide range of musical worlds: Schlager, Rock ’n’ Roll, Country, Soul, Oldies, Swing, Pop, electronic music, and modern sounds.

Our artists tell very different stories. Grace Holloway combines the sound and spirit of the 1950s and ’60s with modern songwriting. Jan Paulke brings together Rock ’n’ Roll, Rockabilly, Country, Soul, and Schlager, inspired by the music he grew up with. Cael MacRae turns places, memories, and landscapes into musical stories in both German and English.

Alva Freira stands for freedom, emotion, and stories that matter more than genre boundaries. Birgit Bergen brings together different musical sides and represents second chances and voices that deserve to be heard. At the heart of Funmusik Records is Jo Bergen — from a young choir singer on the island of Rügen to a producer, creative partner, and supporter of other artists.

His own journey inspired the idea of giving people a musical second chance. For Funmusik Records, AI is not a replacement for human creativity, but another tool for bringing ideas to life. What does music mean to us?

Music means memory, freedom, emotion, and connection. It can be young or timeless, modern or nostalgic, loud or quiet. What matters is not the label — but what a song makes people feel.

Discover our artists, listen to our music, and join us on this journey. Follow Funmusik Records, share our songs, and become part of a community where voices and stories are given a chance to be heard.
