At 32, this proud Dutch powerhouse brings a pedigree of heavy metal passion that runs deeper than most. Music wasn’t just a casual hobby for Lisa; it was the very fabric of her upbringing. Raised in a fiercely musical household where her mother introduced her to the crushing riffs and unapologetic energy of the metal scene from day one, Lisa’s childhood wasn’t spent watching cartoons—it was forged in the mosh pits of legendary concerts and massive European festivals.
Those early festival grounds left an indelible mark on her, cementing a lifelong romance with live music that she would soon share intimately with her sister and two brothers. For Lisa’s family, cranking up the volume wasn’t just a way to pass the time; it was a sacred ritual of connection.
Among the sprawling landscape of heavy acts that shaped her youth, rap-metal pioneers Stuck Mojo carved out a permanent place in her soul. Lisa holds a special appreciation for their legendary former frontman, Lord Nelson, whose powerful legacy in the scene left an impression that still echoes through her playlists today. In fact, if you ask Lisa, it’s high time Lord Nelson gets back in the studio to unleash some new music on the world—we’re officially adding our voice to hers in pushing for a massive comeback!
Beyond those roots, Lisa’s musical appetite is as vast as it is fierce. Over the decades, she has explored, dissected, and fallen in love with countless bands across the entire spectrum of rock and metal, proving that true fans never box their passions into a single corner.
